theatre
Through archetypal figures, dramaturgical positions and rules of improvisation, we give structure to chance in order to investigate the phenomenon of synchronicity through art. P L A S M A T E A T R O proposes collective events in which meaning is not imposed: it emerges.
P L A S M A T E A T R O is an artistic project by Jesús Manuel that brings together theatre, tarot and quantum physics to propose live events in which a community reads its own time together — without anyone holding the truth of the reading.
devices
- tpc
- contemporary performative tarot
- clap
- performing arts course/laboratory
- etc
- contemporary theatrical event
principles
- eie
- speculative reverse engineering: starting from the desired end to discover, along the way, what it takes to get there, most likely transfigured.
- epa
- post-artificial entities, in collaboration with whom the project is developed.
- maq
- arcane-quantum machines. Some devices do not produce objects — they produce conditions. The maqs belong to that in-between territory: they do not automate creation, they tune it. They work as instruments of listening and composition, where language, decision and presence enter into relation with structured chance. Each maq is an operative field: a place where thought is tested, the voice leans in, and gesture takes shape before it settles. They are not tools to speed up results, but surfaces that make the process visible — and, with it, the responsibility of creating.
under construction
P L A S M A T E A T R O is an arcane-quantum model of emersive theatre, permanently under construction — like a scale model.
